Bar Staff
The WB Yeats is an Irish bar set in the heart of Finsbury Park with a focus on great Guinness, delicious cocktails, home cooked food and a large spread of different beers. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented team member to join our team and help us continue to grow. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with a fast-paced environment, enjoys working in a team environment, and is excited to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers at the bar and take their orders
- Prepare cocktails and food according to recipes and standard procedures
- Serve customers by giving them recommendations based on their preferences
- Take orders while maintaining visual contact with customers
- Inform customers about prices, availability of products, and necessary details of services
- Answer customers’ questions about ingredients, prices, and specials
- Postpone or reschedules work when necessary to meet customer needs
- Ensure that the bar area remains clean and orderly at all times
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate any issues or concerns to management
- Assist with opening or closing procedures when needed
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in the bar industry
- Good knowledge of cocktails
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and customer service orientation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week
Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
