Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize the production processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
  • Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams to develop and introduce new products or improve existing products.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement new technologies to streamline production processes.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
  • Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in production engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical, biotech, chemistry Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Production Engineer or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in using production software and tools, such as CAD, CAM, and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From RM1,500.00 per month
